After purchasing the property in 2016, we planted our first lavender in May 2017. Today the rows stretch across the estate — multiple varieties, cared for by our family, blooming from late spring through early autumn. Every wedding, elopement, and portrait session at Elf Leaf Farm takes place against this backdrop.
Our lavender fields are the defining feature of the farm — a constantly evolving, deeply sensory backdrop. Walking through the rows at golden hour is something that photographs beautifully and stays with you for life.
The lavender fields serve as both ceremony setting and portrait backdrop. Multiple spots within and alongside the rows are available for your ceremony, each offering a different perspective on the farm's character.
Our first lavender went in shortly after purchasing the property in 2016. The fields have grown and evolved with every season since.
Lavender blooms most abundantly from June through July. We grow multiple varieties to extend colour and fragrance as long as possible.
